As a devoted fan of both D&D and Star Wars, I found a way to merge these two incredible worlds by crafting an Ewok Jedi character for my next campaign. In designing my Ewok Jedi, I aimed to embrace the essence of the Force while respecting the culture of the Ewoks from the forest moon of Endor. Their strong connection to nature, wits, and community values make them well-suited for a character that embodies the Jedi Code.
Key Features of the Ewok Jedi Character Sheet

I chose Ewok as the race. D&D provides various races, each with unique traits. The Ewok's abilities include:

Class: Jedi (Inspired by the Monk Class)
In the D&D 5E framework, the Jedi aligns most closely with the Monk class. Key Monk features, including unarmored defense and martial arts, suit the skills of a Jedi.
Hit Points: Ewok Jedi can start with 8 hit points and gain more with higher levels.
Weapon Proficiencies: Lightsaber (functioning as a shortsword) and unarmed strikes, reflecting agility in combat.
An Ewok Jedi utilizes the Force for guidance and telekinetic abilities through skills such as ‘Flurry of Blows’ and ‘Step of the Wind,’ showcasing the swift nature of Ewoks.
Ability Scores and Skills
Creating ability scores is one of the most enjoyable aspects of character development. Here’s how I structured mine, adhering to D&D guidelines:
Strength: 10 (Ewoks aren't known for brute strength)
Dexterity: 16 (Nimble and agile in their dense forest habitat)

Charisma: 10 (Friendly with allies but slightly shy around strangers)
These scores highlight the classic traits of an Ewok Jedi, balancing agility and their distinct culture.

The Ewok Jedi brings unique skills that amplify the character’s role. Essential skills include:

Character Background and Motivation
To create depth, every character needs a compelling backstory. My Ewok Jedi, named "Wicket Jinn," was born on Endor, surrounded by the wisdom of elder Ewoks and the vibrant forests. Driven by curiosity, Wicket explored ancient Jedi ruins, uncovering training manuals and holocrons filled with Jedi wisdom.
Inspired by stories of the Jedi's fight against tyranny and motivated by a desire to protect their home, Wicket committed to the Jedi path. Their goal is to stand against darkness and oppression.
